My Story
From the classroom to the cutting edge — and back again.
I started my career as a teacher. Not the kind who lectures at a whiteboard — the kind who figures out why something isn’t clicking and fixes it. Ten-plus years in classrooms and training rooms taught me one thing: the method matters as much as the material.
When AI started changing everything, I didn’t wait for someone to explain it to me. I started testing tools — hundreds of them — to understand what actually works for real people doing real work. I built systems. I made mistakes. I found what stuck.
That’s how Britelite Strategies Inc. was born. And why I co-founded Sophyx, a platform helping businesses understand how AI tools see and talk about them.
Now I help organizations across Canada — and internationally — build real AI capability. Not fluency in buzzwords. Actual skills their teams use on Monday morning.

What Clients Say
Real results from real teams
Claire doesn’t just explain AI — she changes how your team thinks about it. Our staff came out of her workshop with tools they were using the same day.
The combination of her teaching background and her hands-on AI experience is rare. She made our executive team feel capable, not overwhelmed.
I’ve sat through a lot of AI presentations. Claire’s keynote was different — specific, practical, and completely free of fluff. Exactly what our audience needed.
How It Works
Working together is simple
I keep the process light so we can focus on the actual work.
Discovery Call (30 min)
We talk about what your team actually needs — not a sales pitch. I ask real questions and give you straight answers about what will and won’t work for your situation.
Custom Proposal
I put together a scoped proposal based on your team size, goals, and timeline. You’ll see exactly what you’re getting and what it costs — no surprises.
Deliver & Follow Through
We do the work. Whether it’s a keynote, a training series, or ongoing consulting, I show up prepared and I stay accountable to outcomes — not just delivery.
FAQ
Common questions
What makes you different from other AI consultants?
I’m a licensed Ontario teacher (OCT) with 10–15 years of instructional experience. Most AI consultants can explain the tech. I know how to make it stick — for real teams, not just tech-savvy early adopters. I’ve also personally tested 500+ AI tools, so my recommendations are based on hands-on use, not vendor relationships or marketing copy.
Where are you based and do you work remotely?
I’m based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I work with organizations across Canada and internationally — in person for local/regional clients, and remotely or via travel for larger engagements. I’ve keynoted events in San Diego, trained teams in the UK, and work regularly with organizations across Ontario.
What industries do you work with?
I work across sectors — corporate teams, school boards, non-profits, small businesses, and enterprise organizations. Past clients include HubSpot, UK enterprise firms, economic development centres across Ontario, and educational institutions including ALCDSB. If your team uses AI (or should), I can help.
What is Sophyx?
Sophyx (sophyx.io) is an AI visibility platform I co-founded. It helps businesses understand and improve how AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI see and talk about their brand — a discipline called Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). It’s one of the ways I stay on the front edge of how AI is actually being used.
What does your training typically cost?
AI training workshops start at $2,000 CAD and scale based on team size, session length, and customization. Keynotes start at $3,500 CAD. I offer both one-time engagements and ongoing programs. All pricing is in Canadian dollars and includes prep work, materials, and follow-up resources.
